There is no way around it, we have to change our way of living, in order to support our planet and help it to recover.
Lets add a bamboo toothbrush to our zero-waste effort.
Even if a toothbrush seems to be an odd thing to start with, we do use about 300 of these toothbrushes during our life time and these toothbrushes will take 500 years to degenerate. Until then, they will pollute our planet. More then 4.8 billion of plastic toothbrushes are produced every year. A shocking number.

I dont remember how many bamboo toothbrushes I have tried and tested, until I found “The Grass Route Co.”
A few dentists got together and combined the design of the regular brush, which is needed for a good tooth hygiene and the bamboo body and made it look really stylisch.
The result is outstanding.
Now, we need to get to the root of the brush.
Plastic is not a natural product, hence it takes 500 years to degenerate and hence you can soak it in water and nothing will happen to it.
Bamboo on the other hand is a natural product, it will decompose quickly and hence you need to care for it and store it in a dry place.
The brush comes in a beautiful, little cotton bag. After you used it -> put it back in there.
The brush will stay fit and fine till you are done with it.
When you are done with it, remove the hair of the brush with a plier and throw the bamboo body in your bio degradable waste bin.
Mother earth and all the coming generations will thank you for it.
