Our production home is in central India in the pristine wilderness of the Kanha National Park. Life in rural India is primarily based on agriculture and a bit of tourism. The climatical conditions are extreme, ranging from 48°C in summer, -2°C during winter time and highly humid and stormy during the months of monsoon. For most of the people from the local community, life is a day to day struggle and job opportunities are rare.
We offer skill training in sewing and employment for local women. All products with the symbol of the HELPING HANDS are produced in our atelier in the heart of the Indian jungle. Financial independence not only makes ends meet but it also provides self-esteem.
