The current Covid-19 crisis gnaws at our nerves and brings some people psychologically to the brink of despair. No wonder; after all, the media are full of negative headlines.
The more important it is in this whole crisis to strengthen our immune system and to dedicate ourselves again to positive energies!
I would like to introduce you to a natural way to balance your emotions and strengthen your immune system. For this purpose, I would like to give you an introduction to the world of pure essential oils.
Pure, 100% natural essential oils of high therapeutic quality are free of any synthetics, nothing is added to you and you are incredibly powerful. Most of the medicines we use today are based on the original knowledge of plants. Through pressing and distillation, the therapeutic, aromatic components are gently extracted from the plant. The oils are very concentrated and you get with an essential oil between 10 to 70 times more active ingredients than if you rub a lavender flower between your fingers.
The scent molecules of the essential oils act on the nervous system and the limbic system when applied. This allows for incredible new experiences in how one deals with their own emotions. Lavender – peace and balance for body and mind.
Lavender has a calming effect on everything in the body. It reduces anxiety and provides a deep and restful sleep. It prevents overtiredness and restores mental, emotional and spiritual power. Lavender can be used in a diffuser in the bedroom, drizzled on the pillow or rubbed on the soles of your feet to fall into a restful sleep.
A study on lavender, which was published in an issue of the “International Journal of Neuropsycho-Pharmacology” concluded that lavender oil can help with anxiety disorders. This was confirmed in an extensive study by scientists from Vienna.
Last but not least, lavender also has a healing effect on skin irritations.
Pure essential oils, by the way, can also be ingested; with lavender softening the citrus taste in cooking and adding a new flavorful touch to baked goods and desserts.
Lavender oil has also become indispensable in intensive care medicine, which is why I regularly use it myself when caring for critically ill patients.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), health was defined in 1946 as follows: “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease”.
So if you want to end today’s Tuesday stress-free, I can recommend the following to recharge your positive energy:
Mix 10 drops of lavender with 1 cup (250g) of Epsom salt. For a relaxing bath add 1/2 cup (125g) of salt to the warm bath water or
place a cold air diffuser with 3-5 drops of lavender oil in your bedroom.
